- Clerks in the Big Apple. Several firms in New York made same-day offers to judicial clerks this month. Another firm told me they wanted to make a same-day offer this week, but their department chair was out of the office.
- ‘40 Act Now, And We’ll Throw In This Special Bonus Offer! At least one firm in Boston is offering signing bonuses and relocation for investment management associates (i.e. private equity and mutual funds) .
- The Real (Estate) World, Dubai. Real estate and project finance may still be sluggish in several East Coast markets (except here), but there are definitely openings on the West Coast and, if you really want to jump-start your career, in Dubai.
