The Associate Pirate

I hope you guys have a decent holiday (even if quite a few of you reported plans to work this week).

If your New Year’s resolution is to find a new job, then now’s a good time to take a breather and put a little effort into your resume.  January is traditionally the start of a busy season in lateral hiring.  Associates who were just waiting for (or disappointed by) their bonus checks can now feel free to roam about.

Get your law school transcripts too, and, if you’re in patent, get an undergraduate transcript as well.  Most schools take about a week.
