The Associate Pirate (Arr is for Resume!) is a blog about law firms, lawyers, and legal recruiting. Specifically, it’s about my experiences and views as a legal recruiter.
Although legal recruiters tend to blog anonymously, I just don’t think there’s much point to having a secret identity. Sure, I’m a placement superhero, but it’s not like I have an evil nemesis.
So, hello, my name is Justin Bernold, and I’m an Associate Pirate. I’m currently a Director at Lateral Link, and you can feel free to read my online bio over there if you’re curious. When I first started this blog, I was a Director at Lateral Link, which I left to found Firm Prospects in 2009. You can feel free to read my online bio over there if you’re curious.
Also, I should point out that even though I am currently at Firm Prospects and will probably link there from time to time, this is my own little corner of the blawgosphere, and what I say here represents my own views. My colleagues at Firm Prospects (and my former colleagues at Lateral Link) neither endorse nor necessarily agree with anything I say here.
